(KSLA) — Dry conditions due to a lack of adequate rainfall are increasing the danger of fire. As a result, ArkLaTex parishes and counties are beginning to ban outdoor burning.

- Lafayette (issued Aug. 21)
- Miller (issued Aug. 15)
- Sevier (issued Aug. 23)
TEXAS
- Bowie (issued Aug. 15; remains in effect for 90 days)
- Cass (issued Aug. 9)
- Harrison (issued Aug. 7; remains in effect 90 days)
- Marion (issued Aug. 7)
- Morris (issued Aug. 14; ban not to exceed 90 days)
- Panola (issued July 27)
- Shelby (issued July 24)
